Reading thru alot of blogs, there seems to a trend of some sort

1) Asprin Honey masks seem to be very popular. Apparently the saylisic acid in asprin does a good job of slouging off dead skin cells and acts as a cheap pimple cream. Asprin toners seem to be next in line. I tried both and it was just OK.

2) Another interesting read was a girl who used a SOFT ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH together with microdermabrasion cream to exfoliate the skin. Ingenious or Bonkas? I personally dare not try so i cant comment yet! It does mimic those hand held DIY dermabrasion tool though.

3) Last observation is how MAC COSMETICS is taking over the world.
Yeah, Mac is good and everything but no one brand ever scores full points on all their products.
Clinque has good blushers, Mac Paints are great, Maybelline has great lip glosses, Shu has great cleansing oils and foundations….

We went out of Munich to Skyline park. What was interesting was that we met a “schwarz fahren( people who travel illegally)”….. which means that the guy needs to tag along with a group of 4 ppl or less cause the bayern train ticket is valid for up to 5 ppl. He was acting all nice and all and we knew there was something not quite right with this guy. Usually, the Germans are well behaved and pretty by the book if u ask me… of course there are those who frequently schwarz fahren on the U\SBAHN but fewer try to on the train out of munich.
We sat opposite a South Korean Man who Mas casually striked up a conversation with. Found out that hes a high school teacher and was just embarking on his one month Europe trip. He gave us the weirdest travelling advice….” Go to India for something exciting.” Apparently he said something about a trend of SouthKoreans liking to visit India and stuff…
When Mas asked if he was going to go to China, he just said that Chinas a NO GO for SouthKorean… political insensitive?

Than we made it to SKYline park. WOW. We were the only asians in the ENTIRE FREAKING AMUSEMENT PARK! BLOODY HELL.
I felt like i had ” I am a weirdo , stare at me” written all over my face.
Skyline park was swarmed with kidsss…. did i mention that i have a morbid fear of heights.I still took some huge ass roller coaster thing, with my eyes glued shut!!!! The things i do for HIM –grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Mas says i am writting a novel so i better end it here. hahaha

To date i have done 18 freaking brochures and i think its making me kinda crazy….–

After clinching the brochure deal, i was pretty sure things would be easy.

furniturewow is such a big business and they have tons of eco friendly products. As such i have been staring at the computer screen non stop for hours at end, trying to perfect it.
They cover almost everything, from gates to interiors to tiles to offices and carpets and……..etc

How do stay home moms who work do it? Juggle it all?

That means my weekends are busy busy, right in the midst of the season sale!

Also, i have a major boot and dress fetish now. Its so nice to wear boots here. The weather makes it so comfortable and my feet never get blisters, unlike when i wear any other type of shoe. Better buy more b4 going home… maybe the ankle types??

I know, same dress, different color. I just LOVED it. Sigh. Victim of the never ending wallet drain.

I am doing a mini countdown in my head as to when i will return home. All in the name of escaping the merciless, never ending, household chores…
Meanwhile, several Sundays a month is spent being a barber. Mas gets knicks in his head from me using the stupid razor…. but its much much better than going to a barber here. Their HAIRCUTS are TRAGIC. Honestly, the hairstylists that look passable are all 50 sing up at least! For a guy thats pure stupidity cause their hair is like grass.yea.no?

In addition to that, the cheap barbers are mostly Turks.Their haircut is a big no no. I might as well use a bowl and leave around 8 cm of hair, splash color over his hair, etc… it sucks….i swear Munich really lives under a rock ….

Its still a good laugh though. Hair gets into our mouths and all over our faces and sometimes his haircut makes him look like a schoolboy and other times i bald him at the weirdest spots.
At least there was no repeat of the past when i put a few bald spots on the sides of his head. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

As for my hair, i havent gone to a hairdresser for 1 yr coming.Tragic !!!

ANIME UPDATE

Just finished the Bounto Arc of Bleach, and am currently catching up with all the latest episodes.
My friend didnt have episodes 1- 70 plus… so i just watched 70 plus to 130… I cant believe i sat through an entire arc filler.BOO!

Initially i couldnt sit through this anime at all cause the start was so boring. I changed my mind!
Its fun and light hearted and theres alot of cool super power stuff. Content and animation wise its not better than KIBA or NARUTO, but it will do. A cool soundtrack to boot

Ending theme song of Bleach. This singer reminds me of Eason Chan.

My weighing machine

My Weighing machine has a bit of a history.
Mas and I bought one.
Everyone in the apartment was talking abt it… gossiping about a WM is kinda weird!$&*%$@
Whatever…
Than, the girl in our apartment made a new female friend.
First impressions were that shes sweet. (But i never trust first impressions. They are never accurate)
It was when i first moved here, so seeing a Singaporean face made me really happy!
I barely knew this new girl but she would come over to see the singaporean girl in our apartment alot.

So, i was having a really bad day.
On this day, the new girl came over to our apartment and lo and behold, they must have spoken about our weighing machine. So damn popular man this weighing machine.

The singaporean girl came over to my room and asked me to go over to hers.
In her room, i was informed that the new girl asked me to come over, so she could ask to borrow my weighing machine.

I was having a bad day and knowing that a girl who pretended to want to talk to me or rather my weighing machine, made me mad inside.

It may sound sensitive and crazy, but my weighing machine told me that this girl was not a friend to be had.

Months on my WM and Intuition proved me right. Shes not that trustworthy or honest.

I love my weighing machine because it’s so handy in weighing my baggage, myself and being indicative of ” extra bad weight”

Makeup Shopping ?

Since my secondary profession is that of a makeup collector, i might as well release some very personal and sometimes very MALU things i do.

1) Bring my own wet wipes and tissues- there’s never enough
2) I dont go to an high end cosmetics counter. Stands with a large makeup color range and no pesky sales girl is best.
3) Bring a Mirror
4) Go alone- U choose whats best for u
5) When testing eye shadows, always look for basic colors before moving on to the more outrageous ones, unless u have a definite color in mind.
I used to buy weird colors and realised nothing beats basic colors. Browns, blacks, off whites, peach, purples… before the electric blues, yellows and bright greens.
6) Go with a bare powdered eye and apply whatever colors you fancy. Buying based on how the color looks on the back of your hand isnt accurate.
7) Check eye shadow color on eyes away from the lights of glaring cosmetic stands.
My skintone is more yellow-ey, with very little red undertones. The colors that work for me are Blue, Golden based colors, Greens and Grey. Purple, browns and white white shimmery stuff are not my fav colors.
9) Black is kinda universal, its the blending that’s key.

HEY! These may seem very basic but i swear if u shop for makeup from no.1 to no.9, u will leave the mall or stand after a min of half an hour. We pay good money for milled colored powders and high grade petroleum!
Why is it MALU? Cause i spend such time searching for the right ones and returning from week to week, i’m afraid the sales ppl will recognise my face!

Things i have noticed:
– MAC eyeshadows suits people with oily to normal skin and darker skin tones really well.
– MAC eyeliners are fantastic.
– Using a whole face of MAC products can look flat. Their advertisments are fantastic but its full of photoshoping and probably some air brushing to get it looking all perfect and flawless.
–MAC blushes look great. Too bad my skin is ultra bitchy here!

– Shu Umeura Foundations and powders and mascara are excellent.

– Anna Sui eyeshadows are good for fair skinned people. Or if u want accurate and sparkley eye color, their eyeshadows really do the trick.
– Anna Sui face products really give a glow to the face.

– Kroylan eyeshadows and glitters are fantastic for popping the eye. I still remember how we scrambled for this tube of pink glitter in makeup school. They were absolutely gorgeous for highlighting the cheeks.

Glitter is a bitch to put on, but applied with a steady hand and u look like a million bucks.

NOTE: I was asked about a good eye cream and looking though MUA, i found a multi action one called Estee Lauder LightSource eye cream. It had a high rating and pretty good reviews. Dark circle were lightened and its moisturising.
